My Uncle Rudolph Julian (“Fisheye”) Ollivierre was a founding member of Trinidad All Stars. He was the first man to play the “Ping Pong” which is now referred to as the modern “Tenor Pan”. This fact is verified by Sony Black, a friend of his from childhood. He is another one of the unsung pioneers from the dawn of the steel pan era which shamedly go unmentioned in the modern account of the colourful steelpan history.
